New! Snapology Comes to White Bear Lake!
Snapology is bringing workshops to The Wishing Tree for a series of summer fun! Children’s best learning experiences come from interactive activities, so Snapology engages children using LEGO® bricks, K’Nex and technology. Shh! Don’t tell them it’s educational! Kids ages 4-12 will design, create, interact and invent at Snapology’s workshops at The Wishing Tree, and parents are welcome to sit in and see the ideas come alive! Register online or drop in.

Snapology Junior Scientists: All About Animals
For ages 4-6 years old – 45 min per class. 10-10:45 a.m.
Cultivate your child’s love of animals and science! Children will learn various concepts of animal life cycles and animal characteristics & traits using K’Nex® toys and other interactive learning tools suitable for preschoolers. We make animal science fun at Snapology! Parents are welcome to sit in.
Cost: $15 includes paid admission to the playspace.

Snapology Creature Creator Robotics
For ages 7-12 years old – 3 hour workshop.
8/8 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
In Snapology’s Creature Creator Robotics workshop, your animal lover will create their own animal inspired robotic models. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, simple machines, and programming as they build 2 animals and then program them to move and interact. Your child is sure to have a wild time as they build, learn, and play! Parents are invited back for the end of class to see what they learned and demonstrate the coding.

Grandparent Meet Up! Mondays 9:30 a.m. 

Calling all grandparents! It’s adventure time. Bring your favorite “littles” for playtime to get out their wiggles while you relax and enjoy free drip coffee and conversation with other grandparents. The best part, no mess–leave the clean up to us! Paid admission required for play. Our website offers discount punch passes!

CAMP WISHING TREE Summer Weekdays…………10-11 a.m.

Enhance your summer fun without a commitment or expensive camp! We offer drop in opportunities each day throughout the summer to explore create, learn and play at The Wishing Tree Play Cafe. Perfect for parents, sitters, grandparents, play dates and mom meet-ups….You relax while we entertain. Leave the clean-up to us!

A world of wonder awaits your family at The Wishing Tree Play Café’s Garden Club. Come dig in the dirt and explore the art of gardening. For the first week of June, we’ll feature a new flowering plant, vegetable, or fruit daily. Come “grow” together and explore!

Construction Jam…..June 12th-16th
Join us to build your child’s imagination with all things construction. We will artistically craft projects that really “dig” into children’s creativity.

Everything that Glows…..June 19th-23rd
Illuminate your child’s imagination, see the glow in their eyes, and explore the wonder of making light-up creations together.

Safety First…..June 26th-30th
Putting Safety First is a Wishing Tree best practice. For the final week of June, we’ll dig a little deeper into teaching our kiddos about the helpers who keep our community safe, growing and vibrant.

Proud To Be An American…..July 3-7th (Closed July 4th)
Join The Wishing Tree Play Café in celebrating our nation’s independence with hands-on projects that cultivate our imaginations while honoring the United States of America!

Under the Sea…..July 10th-14th
Dip your toes into Camp Wishing Tree during the second week of July. Dive in deep with us to learn all about the amazingly intriguing creatures who live in our oceans.

Space is the Place…..July 17th-21st
We’re shooting for the stars during our week dedicated to exploration of outer space. Rocket to the moon and back with a lineup of creative projects that teach us all about our solar system, planets and stars.

Eric Carle Club…..July 24th-28th
Do you love Eric Carle books as much as we do? Join us this week as we celebrate The Hungry Caterpillar, Brown Bear, Brown Bear and others with story time and an Eric Carle-inspired craft to accompany each day’s special book.

Weather Or Not…..July 31st-Aug. 4th
As Minnesotans, we all know the weather can be unpredictable! We enjoy the very best of spring, summer, fall and winter, while having to be ever-adapting to the freezing temps, rain, sun, snow, sleet, heat and everything in between. This week we’ll learn about the different weather conditions and seasons here in the North Star State. We can’t predict what the weather will be like the first week of Aug., but one thing is for sure…it will be cool at the Play Café!

Famous Artists…..Aug. 7th-11th
Are you bringing up a budding Pablo Picasso or the next Vincent van Gogh? Spend mornings at the Play Café studying some of the world’s fine art masters. Kids will recreate some of their famous masterpieces to add to your curated collection of works!

Gone Fishing!…..Aug. 14th-18th
We’re bobbing with anticipation for the fun and learning opportunities we’re reeling in this week. Troll on in to help us wrap-up Camp Wishing Tree’s summer-long run with fish stories, creative crafts and more. Come catch a good time!

Princess on the Patio, Specific Fridays 6-7 p.m. 
Visit with one of our most prestigious princess pals Friday nights at The Wishing Tree’s brand-new patio and outdoor play area. Each night a different princess from Pretty Princess Parties MN joins us for meet & greets and story time! Friday nights, 6-7 p.m. June 30, July 14 & 28, and August 11

FFTC Bookhounds Family Book Club and Summer Reading Program
