COCO’S WISHES FOR POSITIVE PLAY

CHECK IN

First thing to do when you arrive is ‘CHECK YOUR KIDS IN’ at the ‘CHECK IN’ station. You can save time before your visit by doing it here: NEW ACCOUNT SIGNUP (TO BE LINKED TO KIDCHECK ACCOUNT). Kids can go in right away, socks only, please place all shoes (including grown ups shoes) in the cubbies.

Next please bring the printed labels to the Cafe Counter to pay and get them marked.  You can then order drinks and food at the same time if you would like too.

Place the Kids label on their back.  Then play, relax and enjoy your time.

PARENT/CAREGIVER SUPERVISION

Parents/caregivers are responsible for supervising and safety of their children on the premises at all times.

CHILD SAFETY

All Children must have a liability waiver on file signed by parent or guardian.

All Children must be registered and checked in upon entry and receive a tag corresponding to a parent tag.

OUTSIDE FOOD & DRINK

Outside food and drink are not permitted at The Wishing Tree (exceptions are infant formula, breast milk, and water in your own sippy cup) and absolutely no nuts. We offer a varied menu of healthy, natural and organic beverages, meals, snacks, kid-friendly goodies, gluten-free options and even baby food.  We ask that you don’t eat any outside food inside The Wishing Tree and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

SHOE POLICY

Everyone is required to remove shoes before entering the play space. Slippers or socks are required in the play space. Inexpensive socks are available for purchase for those who forget.

OLDER KIDS/SIBLINGS

Children older than age 6 are allowed to play only if visiting with other children age 6 and younger (in the same family). Admission rates apply for any children who play with and utilize the toys, regardless of age. Please contact us with questions about special permissions.

NO FOOD AND DRINK WHILE PLAYING

Food and drinks should be enjoyed while in the cafe only. Children may not carry food or drinks while playing with toys or equipment. Should your child escape from the table with a snack or juice box (it happens!) please take extra care to make sure food and drink items are not left on any play equipment or in toy areas. Other children likely will pick them up and it is important to be careful about potential allergies or dietary restrictions.

ILLNESS POLICY

No sick children. Because the health and wellbeing of your child is important to us, we reserve the right to refuse admission to obviously ill children.

FOOD SAFETY AND ALLERGENS

Parents are responsible for selecting appropriate food and drink menu items for their child; please avoid choking hazards or any potential allergens. The Wishing Tree Play Cafe strives to be nut free, however we cannot guarantee a nut free environment.  You are solely responsible for monitoring your child and the food around him or her. All food packaging is available for review.

DIAPER CHANGES

Diapers must only be changed in designated changing areas.

NO TOYS, BOOKS OR COSTUMES IN THE RESTROOMS

Please do not bring (or allow your child to bring) any toys, costumes or books belonging to The Wishing Tree Play Cafe into either bathroom.

SAFE PLAY POLICY

The Baby Area is for adults and children suggested under 24 month. Older siblings of infants may play calmly in this area but, for safety concerns, high-spirited children may be asked to play elsewhere.
